Welcome to Friends of the Quran Islamic Center for Quran Memorization-FROQAN
Friends of the Qur’an [FROQAN] is a local organization that was formed in 2015 and officially registered as a company limited by Guarantee under the name “FROQAN LIMITED” on the 1stof November 2016. FROQAN, a non-political brings together Muslims in Uganda to learn, teach, use, transmit and preserve the Holy Qur’an.
FROQAN is affiliated to Fauz foundation, an organization that seeks to contribute to the enhancement of the value of the Qur’an in society through protection, preservation, transmission and implementation of its Message.

MSAU-FROQAN Confrence
The Conference was organized by Friends of the Quran (FROQAN) and Muslim Students Association of Uganda (MSAU). FROQAN is a nonprofit established to promote, preserve, and protect the Quran through teaching while MSAU is the umbrella body for all Muslims students in the country.
According to teachings, the Islamic faith came to safeguard among others, one’s intellect and lineage.
And this is why Muslims are not allowed to take intoxicants nor engage in illicit sexual activity that could lead to the breakage or confusion of one’s lineage.
